This year Anime Central celebrated their 20th anniversary, being the strongest, biggest midwest convention there is. Fans from just about everywhere come to this milestone anime convention, to share their passion for anime, cosplaying, hobbies, arts, games, interests, and just about everything a convention can have. Location Since 1997 the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Rosemont Convention Center, has been Anime Central home, giving it 18 year at this location. Location: Anime Central was held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for many many years now, and has never disappointed. The venue is a perfect location for those who live in the area and out. For those of you traveling by plane, shuttle buses were available near O’Hare that went straight to the venue.  Local Chicagoan’s had the option to take the CTA public transit Blue Line which stops in Rosemont. Which is quite affordable and just a few blocks away from the venue, allowing you to save some money to for a possible splurging spree at the convention. Anime Central 2014 Con blues, who hasn’t experienced that feeling of sadness after your favorite convention of the year has come and gone? 2014 was an amazing year for Anime Central as a milestone was reached by surpassing last year’s attendee number by another 1K new attendees bringing the grand total for this year to more than 29K people.
