Ramencon, as the name implies there was mountains of ramen everywhere.  There was all types of flavors and you could eat as much as you want.  Sounds awesome right, but sadly that’s not what went down during the weekend.  It turns out it was just a ordinary anime convention with no ramen, however we still had fun. 😀 Ramencon 2015 convention was held at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville Indiana, on September 18-20th.  This is its 5th year and still going strong.  This will be our second year attending and just by those two years alone, this a great convention to check out! More news from SCEJA!!  Sony have announced that Gravity Rush Remastered will be coming to the PlayStation 4.  The game which will be called Gravity Daze will hit the shelves in Japan on December 10, 2015. Gravity Rush 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan, North America, and Europe in 2016.

Anime World Expo Review

Location: Anime World Expo was held this year at The Westin in Lombard Yortown Center. Part of the Yorktown Center mall complex with several shopping stores and a variety of restaurant to choose from, the best part about the location is that they are within walking distance! (which was handy due to bouts of rain throughout the weekend). As far as the hotel itself goes, we believe it was a great choice for the venue. The rooms were gorgeous and were priced at the convention rate of $99 a night. We asked several attendees for their opinions about their rooms,  they were impressed by the quality. Anime Midwest 2015 took place during July 3rd – July 5th. Unfortunately due to previous engagements with family and with another organization, I was only able to make it to Anime Midwest on Friday.
