Anime Milwaukee Review 2017

Anime Milwaukee Review 2017

After a couple of years Anime Delivered has return to Anime Milwaukee! Its nice to see during our absences this Con keeps on growing and growing. However, just because a convention is getting bigger dose not mean it has its share of problems.   Location: Anime Milwaukee was held once again in its staple location since 2011 between both the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee Hotel & Wisconsin Center at where else – Milwaukee Wisconsin! Located just a little ways off of Interstate 43 in downtown Milwaukee, the venue is easy enough to locate with plenty of parking available directly at the hotel. That said should it fill up, there are a…

Anime Central Review 2016

Anime Central Review 2016

Location: Anime Central was held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for many many years now, and has never disappointed. The venue is a perfect location for those who live in the area and out. For those of you traveling by plane, shuttle buses were available near O’Hare that went straight to the venue.  Local Chicagoan’s had the option to take the CTA public transit Blue Line which stops in Rosemont. Which is quite affordable and just a few blocks away from the venue, allowing you to save some money to for a possible splurging spree at the convention. The Hyatt Hotel is connected via skywalk to the Donald…

Ramencon 2015 Review!

Ramencon 2015 Review!

Ramencon, as the name implies there was mountains of ramen everywhere.  There was all types of flavors and you could eat as much as you want.  Sounds awesome right, but sadly that’s not what went down during the weekend.  It turns out it was just a ordinary anime convention with no ramen, however we still had fun. 😀 Ramencon 2015 convention was held at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville Indiana, on September 18-20th.  This is its 5th year and still going strong.  This will be our second year attending and just by those two years alone, this a great convention to check out! There so many unique…

Anime World Expo Review

Location: Anime World Expo was held this year at The Westin in Lombard Yortown Center. Part of the Yorktown Center mall complex with several shopping stores and a variety of restaurant to choose from, the best part about the location is that they are within walking distance! (which was handy due to bouts of rain throughout the weekend). As far as the hotel itself goes, we believe it was a great choice for the venue. The rooms were gorgeous and were priced at the convention rate of $99 a night. We asked several attendees for their opinions about their rooms,  they were impressed by the quality. Relatively cheap, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Couldn’t…

Anime Midwest 2015 Review

Anime Midwest 2015 Review

Anime Midwest 2015 took place during July 3rd – July 5th. Unfortunately due to previous engagements with family and with another organization, I was only able to make it to Anime Midwest on Friday. Despite this, I still do have things to say about Anime Midwest. This review is going to look a bit different than normal reviews since I was unable to get to some parts of the con, I’m going to focus on other aspects instead. Anywho, lets get this review stared. Location While the 4th of July usually affiliated with parades and BBQs, this year it was also affiliated with Anime Midwest. Going on its 5th year, Anime…

Anime Central 2015 Review

Anime Central 2015 Review

Anime Central 2015 May of 2015 marked Anime Power Level’s 3rd consecutive year of covering Chicago’s own Anime Central and once again the feeling of sadness filled our hearts as it came to an end. The Midwest holds many great conventions, but there are few are as revered and beloved as ACen. This year was simply amazing, with a fantastic line up of guests such as SCANDAL (the hit Japanese pop-rock band) a great line of of voice actors (Cristina Vee, Amanda Miller and Richard Epcar) and not to mention the panels, raves, burlesques show and the Anime Central Prom. A line of up of events and guests like this…
